ONE BIG MAKE

A live online creative event where we all make the same thing, at the same time, using what we already have at home.

Here's what's happening.

On the evening of Monday 29th June, a virtual room full of people are going to make the same thing, together, online.

I'll do a short demo. Then we'll all get on with it – chatting, laughing, occasionally making a complete mess of things, and feeling completely fine about it.

There are breakout rooms if you want smaller conversation. There's a quiet space if you'd rather just make in peaceful company. Everyone is completely welcome.

What you need to bring:

Nothing you don't already own.

Before the event you'll receive your Treasure List, a short, warm prompt to gather a few things from home. Things like a piece of paper you don't mind using. Something to make marks with. A bit of tape. Scissors. String. Whatever's in the drawer.

Not a shopping list. A finding list.

Why £5?

Because creativity shouldn't cost the earth, financially or environmentally. And because we genuinely believe you already have everything you need, it’s just taking the opportunity to use it.

This is for you if:

• You love to make things but never quite get round to it

• You've got a drawer/cupboard/room full of craft supplies that you’ve not used for a while!

• You want to spend an hour with lovely people and zero pressure

• You need an excuse to put your phone down for a bit

• You believe, like us, that the doing is more important than the outcome

This probably isn't for you if:

• You're looking for a polished online course

• You need your makes to look Instagram-perfect
